Description:
The object of Roller Bowl is to get your marbles to the center of the stadium. Each player in turn states that they are going to move a particular marble into a particular slot, as they make the move other marbles may fall down into lower slots. The idea is to get all of your marbles into the center before others players do.

Lots of Fun for All AgesFeb 23, 2008 This is a particularly nice game for younger children who are past the age of putting things in their mouths. We have enjoyed playing it with our 4 and 6 year olds. There's a little strategy to the game with makes it challenging for older children, but it's also just fun to make the "marbles" fall, which is fun for younger players. You can even just play solo and enjoy seeing "marbles" fall as you spin the rings.
It's a bit smaller than I expected and the "marbles" are smaller plastic balls, not real marbles. Would be nice if there was better storage for the balls, but that doesn't effect the fun at all. ENJOY!!
Stadium Checkers not as expectedJan 19, 2008 As I stated previously, the game is a miniature of the original. Too tiny for four large kids to sit around comfortably and play. The game in the 60's was twice as big and had regular sized marbles. My grand children do enjoy playing it but if any marbles are lost, a package of six (of the SAME color) cost over $5.
I wrote to Amazon,Puzzles USA and Winning Moves to tell them and got NO responses to my reviews or critique.
....so what's the point of reviewing a purchase.

Game was smaller in size than expectedJan 30, 2007 The game is only about 7 inches across. The small size of the game makes it difficult for anyone with bigger than 10 year old hands to play.

New Version of an Old ClassicJan 19, 2007 I was trying hard to remember the name of a game my uncle used to have in the 60's, and then I did the right search to come up with "Stadium Checkers." This new version is smaller than that, so the "marbles" (actually small balls of plastic) are cheaper. I would have preferred to pay a little more to get regular sized marbles. The kids, who didn't know any different, were happy with it anyway for Christmas!

Nostalgia Gone BadJan 08, 2007 I used to have the game stadium checkers when I was kid, which this game is modeled on. But for those of you that also had that game, don't be fooled: this item is half the size of that game and I have no idea why. I was shocked to see how small they made it, or else I have a false image of what it used to be like. I am pretty sure they used regular marbles for the game, but these plastic balls are not much bigger than pellets.
The rules of the game, in my opinion, are not entirely clear. Since we got it for Christmas, I tried it once, but didn't find it very exciting, nor did my kids. Cannot recommend.
