Shipping Policy

Gamestation.net shipping policy

Be advised, as is per Amazon’s shipping policy, your order may take up to two business days to be processed before being shipped from our warehouse.  This includes all shipping methods and is especially important for express overnight shipping.  Business days are Monday – Friday excluding US national holidays.

 Example:  You place your order on Saturday.  It may be Tuesday before your order is processed and then shipped out on Wednesday.  Please keep this in mind for time critical orders.  If you have questions or concerns regarding this, please call our toll-free number 866-600-3684 ext 305 Monday – Friday between 8:30am and 4:00pm CST.  Also, you may contact our shipping department at shipping@gamestation.net Please allow up to two business days for personal e-mail responses concerning shipping and customer service matters.

All online orders are processed through Amazon.com and have a possible delay of 4 to 6 hours before they post to our local server, meaning that even though you placed your order at 9:00 am CST on any given day, the order may not be available to us locally before 3:00 PM that same day. Please keep this in mind when placing time critical orders.

 

 Shipping times for Amazon Standard shipping are typically 3 to 5 business days from the time your package ships, not from the time you order. Some Amazon Standard shipments will require longer transit times (based upon the destination and shipping method used) but should not exceed 7 to 14 business days.  Amazon Standard shipping on international orders is approximately 6-10 business days from the time your package ships. 

 

Shipping times for Amazon Expedited are typically 2 to 3 business days from the time your package ships, not from the time you order.  If your package is shipped via US Priority mail, it could take slightly longer as the US Postal Service does not guarantee the delivery date of Priority Mail packages.  FedEx Express Saver is guaranteed to be a 3 business day ship (from the time your package ships).  Keep in mind that it is our choice as to which carrier we use when you select Amazon Expedited as your shipping method.  If you prefer one shipping service over another, please call your order in by telephone if it is not available as a shipping option at checkout.

 

If you require an order to arrive by a specific date then you need to call us and speak with our shipping department regarding your order. 866-600-3684 ext 305.  This is the only way to guarantee a shipping date and arrival date.

 

Cut-off Times 

  • We ship daily Monday – Friday at 12:00 pm CST for FedEx Ground and Home Delivery packages.
  • FedEx Express ships daily Monday – Friday at 2:00pm CST.
  • FedEx Ground/Home Delivery  and FedEx Express will not deliver to a P.O. Box,  APO, or FPO
  • Shipping time for all US Postal including standard and expedited is 3:00 pm CST.
  • If your order is processed after these times, it will ship the following day.

 

Concerning Shipping Methods

Amazon Standard Shipping - We will, at our discretion as to the method, ship Amazon Standard shipments in the following manners:

·         USPS First Class (2-3 business days)

·         USPS Parcel Post (2-9 business days excluding Alaska and Hawaii)

·         USPS Media Mail (2-9 business days excluding Alaska and Hawaii)

·         USPS Priority International (6-10 business days)

·         FedEx Ground/Home Delivery (2-6 business days depending on location)

 

Amazon Expedited Shipping – We will, at our discretion as to the method, ship Amazon Expedited shipments in the following manners:

·         USPS Priority Mail (2-3 business days)

·         FedEx Express Saver (3 business days guaranteed from the day of shipment)

  Only FedEx Express shipments have a guaranteed delivery date and include insurance against damage. 

 

Per Amazon shipping policy, we are only authorized to ship to the address provided to us by Amazon.  No phone in address changes will be accepted so please be sure your billing and shipping information is up to date with Amazon before placing your order! (Hint: turn off One-Click Ship in order to make changes to your account during check-out.)


New Shipping Methods
(2008)

Amazon has recently started offering FedEx Express 2-day, and FedEx Express Standard Overnight Delivery options on some orders.  Please note that these shipping options work the same as the FedEx Express Saver 3 Day option in that the delivery guarantee is from the time your item ships from our warehouse, not from the time you place the order.  Shipping days for FedEx are business days only. 

           

As noted, we will choose the appropriate shipping method based upon weight of package and your address – for example if you provide us with a P.O. Box only, we will ship your package via the appropriate postal service regardless of package weight as FedEx will not deliver to a post office box.  If you prefer to ship with a particular carrier or method you will need to place your order by phone.  Otherwise, we will choose the shipping method based upon weight and addressing of your package.

 

All postal packages will contain delivery confirmation via the US Postal service.  This is not a full tracking service like you would receive with FedEx.  Delivery confirmation does give some updated information as your package is in transit to you.  Upon delivery to the address you have submitted to us through Amazon, you package will be marked as “Delivered” by the US Postal service.    

 

We assume no liability or responsibility for delivery once your shipment has left our warehouse.  By placing your order with us and choosing Amazon Standard or Amazon Expedited as your shipping option, you are agreeing that you understand these terms and conditions. Please see statements below concerning insurance availability and coverage.


Insurance Availability and Coverage

Insurance is not included with US Postal service packages.  Insurance against damage, theft or loss is available at an additional charge.  If you would like to request this coverage, please make your order by calling our toll-free number during normal business hours Monday-Friday 8:00 – 4:00 PM CST.

 

Insurance against damage is included with all FedEx Ground/Home Delivery and FedEx Express shipments.  All FedEx shipments include a fully traceable tracking number which will be emailed to you at the time of shipment.  This insurance covers loss or theft only if the package tracking number shows the package as still in transit or undelivered. 

 

Once the package is marked as delivered by FedEx, insurance against theft or loss is void.  If you need further guarantee of your delivery against theft or loss, you will need to add Direct Signature Required to your shipment for an additional fee.  To do this, you must call to place your order by phone and request these options.
